WHAT You need to know to get started

We really hope that you will come out and have some fun curling.  We want to make the sign up process as easy as possible for you and also make you feel welcome at the Club. Please email us at manager@niagaracurling.com if you have any additional questions.

There is an special introductory offer rate for new members. Sign up for a trial membership and you will be able to play in as many adult leagues as you wish for the first half of the season (October-December) for the low price of $225.00. If you wish to continue beyond the trial membership, just select the membership option that suits you, and we will prorate the amount for the remainder of the season.   Click here for more information on rates and how to register online.

You can sign up as an individual, a pair or as a team. We will help you find a team.  Just let us know what night you want to play and we will take care of placing you on a team.

Short answer: Comfortable shoes, warm clothes and a broom.  For shoes, most new curlers start by wearing a clean pair of running shoes for the first few games and then they might want to buy a removeable slider or a pair of curling shoes.  For clothes, you want to have flexible clothes that are warm.  Many new curlers start with exercise pants (what you would wear to golf or run) and a sweatshirt or light jacket. A good broom can be purchased at the curling pro shop.

Yes, we will be offering a Learn-to-Curl league in October on Friday nights.   We also can arrange for veteran curlers to be available to help you feel comfortable sliding, throwing, sweeping and also with the rules and etiquette of the game.
